Love rests on two pillars: surrender and autonomy. Our need for togetherness exists alongside our need for separateness. One does not exist without the other.

Individual Intensives

In my two decades as a therapist, I've primarily worked with people in traditional one-hour sessions extending over weeks, months, and occasionally years. Recently, I've introduced an intensive format for working with individuals that spans shorter periods, receiving overwhelmingly positive feedback from participants.

In this intensive approach, the focus is on healing one or two significant aspects of your life, a departure from the standard model. A significant portion of my work involves couples navigating infidelity recovery, addressing issues such as therapeutic disclosure for healing relationships, individual trauma, or fostering empathetic communication. I've also worked with individuals aiming to manage anger, establish boundaries, or enhance performance in areas like sports, music, and creative endeavors. This intensive approach proves beneficial for anyone seeking to understand and heal aspects that perpetuate unhelpful behavior or relational patterns.

When working with individuals, I employ Internal Family Systems, EMDR, and Emotional Transformation Therapy.

Our initial sessions will involve clarifying your transformative goals, uncovering underlying subconscious strategies, and identifying beliefs, behaviors, or feelings that may be deeply rooted.

If you've been in therapy before, you're likely familiar with spending a significant portion of your weekly session reestablishing contact and providing updates. The intensive format eliminates this need due to longer and closely spaced sessions. The math reveals that twenty hours of therapy during an intensive session is equivalent to around forty hours in a typical session, condensing ten months of therapy into just a few weeks.

Sessions will last between two and three hours for 2.5 days. I tailor our time together to meet your unique needs. The cost of the intensive is $7,500. I also offer shorter or longer intensives.

The intensive may encompass the following:

  • Learning new skills

  • Exploring how the brain works

  • Trauma healing work

  • Identifying unhelpful patterns

  • Engaging in practices to interrupt those patterns

  • Engaging in practices to create new patterns

  • Developing a healthy strategy for moving forward
